January 6: They tell me it’s a Tuesday. How would I know, really? All I know is that I finally got the sunshine I came on vacation 4 weeks ago FOR. I want to go to the beach but honestly I’ve been unplugged for 3 weeks and I need some internet time to catch up. I check email and start plotting further travels to Great Barrier Reef and Fiji. Can’t believe it’s so close. It used to be so far! What a great place to be, so easy to travel to exotic places. Wouldn‘t it be great to stay here for a while and see it all and soak it up? Hell, I should send some resumes out. Why not. Hahaha. Wouldn’t that be funny.

Oh my god. Oh my god. I got a response. A request for interview. I sent the resume a half hour ago. Nuts. In New York you wait for months. Wow. Whoa. Whoa. Wow. Awesome. Speaking of New York, I am supposed to have two job offers coming in this week. Where are they?

Dang, really? The day is gone! Shall I repeat last night? Nah, I’ll just hang out at my hotel.

Fancy that, the first person I meet is from Boston. But of course. He invites me to join him and his friend. Talk is nice. Both cute. What sweet boys. They live here. New friends. Ahhhh.

Lesson: “Toss the Boss Night” -- happens around here, meaning you order your drinks then toss the coin and if you win heads or tales then you get your drinks free. Unfortunately I am built with bad luck. Not gonna work in my favor. TheB-boys make it work for them though. Way to go, guys!
